Any or Some

Use "Any" for questions:

Are there any films on the hard disc?

Do you have any whisky please?

Did you see any camels in Tunisia?

Use "Any" for negatives:

There aren't any tigers in Africa.

I didn't drink any of John's home-made-wine.

I don't have any money on me.

Use "Some" for affirmatives:

We saw some crocodiles in Australia.

I have some interesting stamps in my collection.

Some dogs are dangerous.
